TOWN HALL DANCE
The management of the Main Town Hall Dance will extend a special welcome to the men of the Australian Navy to-morrow night, and in their honour will feature a special fox trot competition, for which prizes will be given. Two bands—the Mayfair Band of nine players and the Savonia Band of eight players, aided by Air Janies MTarlane, radio vocalist—-will render the tunes of the moment. A special song number, ‘The Fleet’s in Port Again,’ will be featured. A big flashlight photograph will be taken, in addition to small group photographs. Carnival novelties should lend a gay air to the evening’s enjoyment, and the spectators in the circle should enjoy the spectacle. A special broadcast has been arranged for listeners.
