GOLDEN HONEYSUCKLE?
One of the most beautiful climbing plants that I have in my garden is the Chinese honeysuckle named Lonicera tragophylla (writes a contributor to 1 Popular Gardening,’ London). When I purchased it from a well-known shrub nursery five years ago I was told to plant it on the north Avail of my house, and that this advice was sound is proved by the way it has flourished. It has grown freely, is never damaged by frost, and each year in' June and July is laden with clusters of flowers. These are exceptionally long for a hardy honeycuskle, often quite 4in, and the colour is rich golden yelloAT. If you have a porch on the north or north-west side of your house you could not do better than grow this honeysuckle on it; you are sure to he pleased.
