CAR IN FLAMES
OCCUPANTS' HURRIED EXIT [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 12. A small sports car just concluding a fortnight’s tour of the North Island was wrecked bv fire at the top of Paekakariki Hill yesterday. When changing to lower gear the owner (Mr S. Little) saw flames burst forth from the engine. The carburettor and tank both took fire, and the occupants of the car were just able to make a hurried exit and watch its destruction.
