Capris was injured in a race shortly after the Epsom, but recently reappeared on the tracks. Her owner, however, evidently considers she will not stand another campaign. CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS DUTCH RIDER WINS •Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, February 12. (Received February 12, at 11.30 a.m.) The Dutch Olympic representative, Arie Van Vliet, won the mile and fivemile amateur cycling championships of New South Wales last night, but, as he is not qualified, the titles go to the Australian Olympic representatives, D. Gray and C. E. Wright, who were second in the respective events. JAPANESE ATHLETES LEAVE SYDNEY FOR NEW ZEALAND SYDNEY, February 12. (Received February 12, at 11.30 a.m.) The Japanese Olympic athletes, Murakoso and Togami, arrived yesterday and trained at the Sports Ground in preparation for their visit to New Zealand. They left for the Dominion to-day. An endeavour is being made to arrange for them to compete at Sydney at the conclusion of their New Zealand visit.
