He had a' fairly restful night, but a disquieting feature is that painful varicose ulcers have formed on both legs. His entourage is withholding current news, as reports of strife and bloodshed distress His Holiness. The newspaper ‘ Stampa’s ’ Vatican correspondent says the Pop© will probably ttot leave bed again, and the Eucharistic Congress at Manila may have to be postponed.
