(Received December 17, at 2 p.m.) Under the scheme for assisting merchant shipowners £495,520 was advanced between January 18, 1935, and March 31, 1936, on account of loans totalling £1,200,000 approved an connection with the construction of 20 vessels, aggregating 60,000 tons gross.
