Weather changeable, with passing showers, more especially in western and coastal areas. Temperatures cool to moderate. Seas rather rough to rough south of Nugget Point, elsewhere slight to moderate. FINE, BUT CLOUDED. Yesterday was fine and warm) and. following Idea of frost last evening, this morning broke with mild temperatures prevalent and sun showing at intervals. At times the sky was clouded heavily, and a freshening north-easterly breeze was apparent as yesterday* There was no ram last evening. Temperatures have remained steady for the past week. To-day the respective registrations until 12.40 p..m. were 67.1 and 53deg, as compared with 59.8 and 54deg for the same period yesterday. For 24 hours on Monday the temperatures were 59.8 and 4l.7deg respective!.*. Barometric pressure still remains hign, the reading at noon to-day being steady at 29.8 in Indications at 1.45 were for a fine afternoon.
