Wainui is due on Monday from Wellington to load on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne via ports. Waikouaiti sailed yesterday for Tiraaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge of her Sydney cargo. Northumberland left Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for Wanganui and Auckland to complete Homeward loading. which is due at Auckland on Thursday from London, will also load at Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Port Chalmers, Bluff, and Auckland. She is due here .on August 29.

Nina Borthen. from Batum via. Wellington and Lyttelton, is now due here on "Thursday to discharge bulk petrol for the Associated Motorists’ Petrol Company. Surrey, from Liverpool via ports, is now due to-morrow. She will sail later for Oamaru.

Eskdalegate is expected at Lyttelton on August 1C and at llavensbourno three days later to discharge phosphates from Nauru Island.

Lindenbank, from New Orleans via ports, is now due here on Saturday. Waitaki is to leave Melbourne on Thursday lor Bluff and Dunedin, and is due here on August 19. Karetu was expected to leave Hobart to-day for Bluff and Dunedin, and is duo here pu August 19. AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND. Karetu, from Newcastle, Sydney, and Hobart, is due here to-morrow. CARGO FROM MONTREAL. The Montreal-Australia-New Zealand Line advises that the Denholm will now leave Montreal on September 21 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin in place of the Canadian Britisher. RADIO FROM REIYO MARK. The Reiyo Marti, which left Miike on July 2G for New Zealand, reports by radio that she expects to reach Auckland on August 18. She is due here on August 25. VESSEL RECOMMISSIONED. The Piri, the Nobel Company’s auxiliary vessel, will be recommissioned at Auckland after use*as a store ship for the past six years. She will be converted to a pole-masted fore-and-aft schooner. . Y.K.K. LINE SAILINGS. Wright, Stephenson, and Cku Ltd. have received advice that the Y.K.K. Line steamer Chifuku Maru is now to leave Kobe on August 22 and Miike on August 26 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, in place of the Keifuku Maru, which will now clear Miike on September 22 for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin, The Chifuku Maru is due at Auckland on September 15.

MATUA. The Union Steanl Ship _ Company's new motor ship Matua, built specially for the Islands fruit trade, left New-castle-on-Tyne on June 27 on her maiden voyage to New Zealand. Captain A. H. Prosser is in command or the Matua. The Matua underwent her trials on June 17, when a maximum speed of slightly more than 17 knots was attained. Built by Hawthorn, Leslie, and Co., Newcastle-on-Tyne, the Matua is a twin-screw vessel of 4,000 tons gross measurement, 051 ft in length, with a beam of 50ft Sin. The Matua came out via the Panama Canal, and called at the Cook Islands en route to load her first consignment of fruit. She was expected at Auckland to-day. AT OTHER PORTS.
