COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' BALL

Elaborate preparations are being made for the commercial travellers’ ball to be held in the Concert Chamber on July 31, a date specially arranged to enable the Southland travellers and their friends to join in a night of gaiety on the eve of the Rugby shield match. To happily entertain the large assembly/of dancers interesting novelty items will he provided, and there will be a banquet supper to fittingly suit the occasion. The arrangements are in the hands of an energetic committee of C.T.’s.
