The executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce has been advised bv the Minister of Defence (Mr Jones) that he has given some thought to the question of the setting up of an air ministry, and when the more pressing problems engaging the Ministry have been dealt with it is his intention to submit proposals to Cabinet. A London cat has been trained to be a vegetarian. Mice brazenly help themselves from its saucer of milk, but sparrows arc distinctly nervous, as they can never be quite sure whether the"animal is allowed poultry or not. “ Ma< rgie,” said Angus to his wife, “ here’s”a wee ticket for to-night’s conliiring show, and when he conics to that part where he takes a teaspoon o' flour and one egg, and makes 20 omelettes, watch vorra, verra close.”
