He has had 1,500 hours’ flying, including 300 hours’ night flying. He is a son of Mr D. E. Dustin, of Wanganui. Hon. T. O’Byme was a through passenger from Invercargill to Wellington to-day. Mr B. S. Irwin left to-day to preside at the Trotting Conference. Mr J. M. Samson travelled to-day to Wellington to attend the Racing Conference. Mr J. P. O’Reilly, of Messrs W. D. and H. O. Wills Ltd., left to-day on transfer to Greymouth. Mr G. N. S. Muller, representative of the South Australian. Citrus Fruitgrowers’ Association, returned to Wei* lington by to-day’s second express. A British official wireless message from Rugby states that General Sir George Jeffreys has been appointed . Aide-de-Camp-general to the King, in succession to General Sir Cyril Deverell, who has been promoted to the rank of field marshal. Latest registrations at the City. Hotel include Mr T. Roberts (Welling-' ton), Mr and Mrs S. Martin (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs R. Porteous (Garston), Mr and Mrs F. Webb, and Mr and Mrs T. Sinclair (Invercargill).
