MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING

COWIE SHIELD The first round for the Cowie Shield for teams of five from any club belonging to the Otago Miniature Rifle Association, was fired on Thursday evening, 16 teams, representing eight clubs, taking part. Competition was very keen, and some good scores were recorded. Seven possibles (80) were registered, these being put on by Airs Bradley and Messrs A. Peterson, W, Graham, C. Gamble, G. Wyllio, I. Pollock, and R. Bowie. Railway No. 2 and Arthur Barnett’s No.il are level for the first round with 393 points out of the possible 400, with Arthur Barnett’s No. 2 in third place with 390.
