(Received June 8. at 10.30 a.m.) Remarkable escapes from death op serious injury were experienced. by a pilot, Kenneth Horn, and his passenger, Herbert Morris, when their plana crashed and burst into flames when the pilot was attempting to land in a paddock near Singleton. The machine was the famous Red Rose, in which Mrs Miller and Captain Lancaster flew to Australia. Horn and Morris leaped from the burning plane as it struck the ground. The machine was burned to ashes.
