POULTRY KEEPERS MEET
A special meeting of noultrykeepers was held recently in Wakari School class room. There was a. large attendance of persons interested in the indnstry. The Chairman pointed out that it was desirable that a second branch of the Poultry Producers’ Federation bo formed at Wakari-Kaikorni. Mr Alex. Burt gave an account of the progress made by the federation, the chief move being that of organising the industry, which, it was remarked, would in time become one of the primary industries of the Dominion. The speaker went through the various remits which had been approved at the last conference. The following office-bearers »were elected:—President, Mr A. C. Goodlot; vice-president, Mr PI. P. Anderson ; committee—Messrs M'Kenzie, Sime, Stedman, Still, and Smith.
