Quill pens manufactured in London are sent to all parts of the world by Mr S. Gray Barton, of Beckham. His company has a monopoly. Ho makes thousands of them ovary year, and sends them all over the world to lawyers and sentimentalists, who likp to have births and marriages recorded with quills, and cinema stars who have period rooms and want every detail correct. Mr Barton also makes toothpicks—millions a rear.
