WEEK-END PASSENGERS The -Union Airways liner Kotuku left the Taieri at 8..‘10 on Saturday morning for Christchurch, Blenheim, and Palmerston North with Mr A. G. Gerrand (for Christchurch).. The late departure was due to the necessity for putting in extra petrol on account of the bad southerly weather prevailing. The Kotuku reached Christchurch in the record time of Hi and smin, arriving at Wigram at 9.35. The severe weather prevailing south of Blenheim forced the southbound airliner Korimako to return to Blenheim, where she left at 11.40 to return to Palmerston North. The Kotuku left Blenheim at 11.51 to complete the southbound flight, arriving at Christchurch at 2.10 p.m., having taken 2h and 19min, as against her usual time of Hi and 25min. The liner left Christchurch at 2.45. and arrived at Taieri at 4.50 p.m., having taken over half an hour longer than usual for the run. Inward passengers wore Miss B. Long from Nelson via Blenheim, Mr W. Wallace from Palmerston North, and Mr A. G. Gerrand from Christchurch. The Kotuku left the Taieri at 8.15 yesterday morning for the north, with Messrs J. W. Johnson and J. Pugh (for Christchurch) and Mr Harry Kent (for Wellington). The Korimako ariryed at the Taieri at 1.15 yesterday with Messrs G. J. Barton and F. White (from Palmerston North), Mr 11. H. Parton (from Wellington), Mrs R. R. Johnston and Mr C. Lyng (from Chistchurch). The Korimako left the Taieri at 8.15 with Miss 0. Turner and Mr W. A. Simpson (for Christchurch) and Mr F. White (for Wellington). The Karoro arrived at the Taieri at 12.50 to-day with Mr C. E. Fuller (from Wellington).
