SPEEDING UP
LONDON TO GLASGOW RAILWAY NEW SUMMER PROGRAMME. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, May 1. The London Midland Scottish Railway will inaugurate on Monday the fastest service from London to Glasgow in railway history. The midday Scot will leave Euston at 2 o’clock and reach Glasgow 7h 35min later, completing the 401} miles in an overall average speed of 52.9 miles an hour. Other services will be accelerated as part of the summer programme, which will be started next week.
