H.M. SLOOP LEITH

TO RECOMMISSION IN DOMINION [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 1. His Majesty’s sloop Leith will bo recommissioned this year. It is customary for naval ships to proceed to England on such occasions, but owing to the expense involved, the Leith will be recommissioned here, the new crew arriving from England probably in December, and the present complement then returning to England. The complement totals 104. Captain O. Bevir commands the vessel, which has been in New Zealand less than a year.
