THE ‘SPORTS SPECIAL '
FIRST ISSUE TO-MORROW
AIL SPORTING EVENTS OF DAY AND WEEK
The 1936 season of that popular journal, the ‘ Sports Special,’ will commence with to-morrow night’s issue, and the new and more striking make-up adopted, with an even freer use of illustrations, will doubtless add much to its already high reputation as an indispensable week-end investment for all sports followers. There is locally a full round of all fixtures to-morrow, many interesting games being promised in the various codes, and there is also the final day of the Forbury trotting meeting. These events and games will be fully reported and analysed, and in addition all available sporting fixtures throughout the Dominion will be recorded. A particularly bright assembly of special contributions, covering the widest range of sport, will reinforce the day’s news, and altogether the 64 columns presented will furnish lively and informative reading for week-end leisure. As last year, the • Sports Special ’ will be on the streets at 7 p.m., or as close to that hour as circumstances allow.
