REVIVAL Of EVENING TALKS [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 30. The New Zealand Broadcasting Board is reviving the evening series of educational talks Th« new series, which will be given from each of the four main stations, it is hoped, once a week during the winter, will be definitely instructional, being planned on adult education lines, but the entertainment aspect will not be neglected. Honorary advisory committees Have been set iip in the four centres to supervise these series of talks under the control of the board. The following have already consented to act; — Wellington.—Dr Elizabeth Bryson, Dr 1. L. G. Sutherland, and Professor G. W. von Zedlitz. Auckland.—Mrs N. H. E. Shepherd, Sir Joseph Smith, Mr Gilbert Archey, Mr N. M. Richmond, and Professor C. G. Cooper. Christchurch. —Professor J. Right, Professor J. Shelley, Mr A. T. Donnelly, and Dr J. Guthrie. Dunedin.—Miss Hypatia Johnson, Archdeacon Whitehead. Professor G. E. Thompson, and Professor T. D. Adams. A representative of tho local station staff will be a member of each committee.
