Called by the Public Trustee, a meeting of SO debenture-holders from all parrs of New Zealand in ilm Investment Executive Trust of New Zealand Limited (in liquidation i K being held at Wellington to-day. The passing of legislation for the liquidation of the assets of the company without an expression of opinion from Ilia debentureholders and the action of the Public Trustee in regard lo the sale of the assets wore criticised. The opinion was expressed that realisation of the assets was not in the host interests of the shareholders, and resolutions to this effect, with the suggestion that the Public Trustee, in consultation with the debenture-holders, settle a scheme for the preservation of the assets, are still under .the consideration of tlie meeting.—Press Association.
