MAGISTRATE’S COURT
TUESDAY, APRIL 7. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Judgment (with costs) was given for plaintiffs in the following undefended cases:—T. Scurr Ltd. v. William Jephson (Pleasant Point), £6, rent due; James’s Jersey Dairies v. A. Wilkinson, £1 11s sd, milk supplied; Victor Nelson Ltd. v. F. Cumberbeach, £1 2s 9d, goods supplied; H. Borland v. E, H. Taylor, £5, goods supplied; .E, H. Grace v. John Wilson, £2 Os Id, goods supplied; G. A. Waghorne and Co. Ltd. v. William Johnston Brown, £1 2s Bd, goods supplied. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Alexander Mann proceeded against Andrew Martin to recover the sum of £4 2s 6d, the judgment debtor being ordered to pay that amount forthwith, together with costs (12s), m default four days’ imprisonment. . M'lver and Veitch proceeded against R. Keogh to recover £8 10s 3d, an order being made for the payment of that amount (with costs 13s), in default five days’ imprisonment. _ After hearing evidence by the judgment debtor, the magistrate refused to make an order against Frederick R. Gill, who was proceeded against by Neale and Haddon Ltd. (Nelson) for £3 18s.
