The President of the Board of Trade (Mr AValter Runciman) stated at Bradford last night that if the United States would release some of her stores of gold and be as adventurous towards borrowing nations as in her own home policy, the rapidity and volume of world trade would be vastly increased. FOREIGN AGREEMENTS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 28. Referring to the value of foreign agreements, Mr Runciman said that he intended to pursue a policy of promoting' such agreements. A good many present agreements were coming up for revision at an early date. They would keep two things in mind. First, that there were many debts owing us from abroad which we should be allowed to collect; and. secondly, that international arrangements should be reciprocal.
