SPECIAL FLIGHT YESTERDAY The Union airliner Korimako left Taieri Airport at 11.30 a.m. yesterday with the following passengers Messrs H. J. Hastie, J. B. Crystal, and P. Bowie (for Blenheim). The Karoro arrived at 12.00 p.nr. yesterday with Mr P. C. Louden (from Palmerston North). The Katoro left Taieri at 11.30 a.m. to-day with Messrs L. M. Satterthwaite, D. C. Cameron, I. C. Neale (for Christchurch) and Mrs E. Clancy (for Palmerston North). . . The Kotuku arrived at the Taieri Aerodrame at 1.10 p.m. to-day with one passenger, Mr J. O’Brien (from Christchurch). SPECIAL FLIGHT. The special excursion trip yesterday was well patronised, 10 passengers making the trip. These were Messrs lan Glendening, Carnegie, J. Falconer, C. J. and J. Hurrell, A. W. Phillips, Williams, A. T. Waugh, J. W. Johnston, and L. N. Reeves. The airliner left the Taieri at 1.30 p.m., and arrived at Wigram at 2.50 p.m. During the stay at Christchurch the machine made 16 joyrides round Christchurch in aid of the Squadron-leader M‘Gregor benefit fund. The return journey was commenced at 5.30 p.m., and Taieri was reached at 6.45 p.m. Both the northward and southward trips were carried out in excellent flying weather, and very fast time was made.
