MATCHES IN CHRISTCHURCH [Pm United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, February 29. A broadsiding meeting was held last night, the most important events being a series of match races for overseas riders. Results:— OVERSEAS MATCH RACE. Three laps. First Race.—Mitchell 1, Clibbett 2. Time, Iniin 3 2-ssec. Second Race.—Clibbett 1, Mitchell 2. Time, linin 3 4-ssec. The third race was won by Clibbett. Mitchell had engine trouble at the end of the second lap, PYE HANDICAP. Four laps. Final.—Clibbett, scr, 1; Dixon, 7sec, 2. Time, Imin 27 l-ssec.
