OTAGO CLUB MATCHES A Foursome Stroke Competition played on the Balmacewen links on Saturday afternoon was won by H. V. Lawry anti W. Johnstone with a net score of 65, closely followed by T. B. Ferguson and D. A. Ferguson with 66. The latter pair did the round in 71. Scores; —

In the semi-final match of the Fourball Knock-out between C. W. Glover and J. N. Lemon and G. W. Bowron and R. Elliott, the former pair won by 4 and 2. Two pairs are now left in the final—Glover and Lemon and T. B. Ferguson and D. A. Ferguson. ST. CLAIR CLUB The Stapleford Bogey Handicap drew a large entry on Saturday afternoon, when conditions were all that could be desired. The senior event was won by F. D. BELLEKNOWES MATCH Owing to the counter attraction at Carisbrook on Saturday afternoon, there was only a small entry for teh Four Ball Aggregate Stableford Bogey which was played. The fairways were in good order, but the greens were holding after the morning’s rain, and called for judgment in putting. F. Haigh and S. Roberts with 72 points were the winners, G. Hopkins and M. Wilkinson being next with 67 points.. Best scores wers:—
