“ Health.”—The following is a good recipe for home-made fruit salts; —Tib icing sugar, 4oz carbonate of soda, 4oz tartaric acid, 4oz cream of tartar, 4oz Epsom salts. Put through a sieve and mix together at least three times. Store in a screw-top glass hottle. Dose, one heaped teaspoonful in a glass of watc*. In regard to your second question, in ordinary social usage it is quite incorrect to use Mr or Mrs. In the case of a business man speaking to one of his employees, or. of a woman speaking to her maid or giving an order to a tradesman, it would be quite correct.
