INCREASES IN REVENUE (British Official Wireless.) ' Presai Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, February 25. The Exchequer returns ilp to the end of last week show that the total ordinary revenue, excluding self-balancing items, amounted to £644,665,284, compared with £620,169,263 at the corresponding date last year. Receipts from inland revenue were £326,761,000, against £316,721,000 in the same period last financial year, and Customs and excise were £274,487,000, against £263,519,000. The total ordinary expenditure, excluding self-balancing items, amounted to £660,716,773, against £641,260,601 at the corresponding date last year,.
