OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIPS To-day play was continued on all lawns, with council button matches at Punga. in the final of the A grade handicap doubles played yesterday afternoon, the Gore pair (Mesdames M'Creath and Robertson) were up against a difficult proposition in Mesdames Cornish and Metcalf from the Logan Park Club. The latter pair had a half bisque in their favour. Play was mostly in and out, ending in a very close finish with only 3 points in Gore’s favour. Mrs Horn, in good tourney form, played' practically all day yesterday, starting Per fourth match after 5 o’clock and winning all four.
