UNIVERSITY RUGBY TEAM

A BRILLIANT DISPLAY FINAL GAME OF TOUR Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright HONGKONG, February 21. The New Zealand University team played the final game of its tour against the combined Army and Navy to-day, winning by 26 points to 0 after a brilliant display of Rugby in carefree fashion. The New Zealand team was:— Full-back: W. Tricklebank. Three-quarters: J. M. Watt, H. R. Wild, E. Grant. Five-eighths; J. D. Lewis, G. A. Parsons, G. C. Gillies. Half-back: J. J. M'Auliffe. Forwards: J. O. Stace, W. R. Laney, R. B. Burke, L. S. Drake, S. G. Bade, E. C. Chesterman, S. W. Simmers. Owing to a shortage of fit players, the team was compelled to play seven forwards and eight backs. Scorers were: Parsons (2), Wild (2), Lewis, and Grant. Tricklebank converted four tries. Most of the tries came from brilliant openings made by Gillies. The team was given a wonderful reception from the Australia and New Zealand Association and residents, who have showered hospitality on the players, including a drive round the island, a morning tea party and lunch and dinner by the New Zealand representative. All the injured are now well on the way to recovery. D. A. Hudson remained behind in Japan. The team is now looking forward to arrival home. KIWI CLUB The Kiwi Club fired the final shoot of the No. 6 match on Saturday over the 300yds, 500yds, and 600yds ranges. Conditions were seven shots and two optional sighters at each range. The weather was fine, but a changing light and a frontal fishtail wind caused a good deal of trouble, with the result that scores suffered badly. The best scores off the rifle were obtained by Rfm. Mills, R. Johnston, and R. Bowie, each with 94. The best at 300 were H. Whitehead and R. Gillick (31). At 500 D. Parsons and R. Bowie each scored 34 in exactly the same order, and at 600 W. Mills was top with 33. The following are the scores, handicaps, and prize winners:—
