THE ALL BLACKS

EXPECTED BACK ON FEBRUARY 17 [Per United Press Association.] 1 WELLINGTON, January 9. The New Zealand team is expected to reach Auckland on February 17. It is possible that Messrs S. S. Dean and J. Prenderville, the delegates to the Rugby Conference, will return from England via Australia. A cablegram has been received by the New Zealand Union from the English Rugby Union in reply to the congratulatory message sent on England’s fine win over the touring side. The reply is as follows:—“Thank you for the cablegram., A grand, hard game was enjoyed by all the players. Your fellows upheld the best traditions of the game throughout the tour.”
