MYSTERIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT OF DEATH ACCUSED OF TRAFFICKING |N CURRENCY Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright MILAN, December 3. (Received December 4, at 10 a.m.) It is mysteriously announced that Carlo. Eeltrinelli, one of the biggest industrialists in the country, who had been accused of. trafficking in foreign currency, had “ taken ill and died. - ” It was alleged that ho deposited £6,000,000 in Swiss banks in his wife’s name. He offered, after the discovery, £1,000,000 to the Government, which refusd to accept it, and sequestered all his property in Italy and placed ji lienon ibis accounts abroad.
NATURAL CAUSES. LONDON, December 3. (Received December 4, at 11.5 a.m.) The Italian Embassy says that the death of Eeltrinelli was not connected with the charges, but occurred at a hoard meeting from natural causes.
