CORPORATION NOTICES. DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION 01 SPECIAi; ' ORDER AUTHORISING THE RAISING OF A LOAN OF £50,000. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose, and held on Monday, the 11th day of November, 1935, passed the undermentioned resolution to operate as a Special Order authorising the raising of a loan of £50,000. The said resolution is as follows; — “ Pursuant to the provisions of ‘ The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act-, 1900,’ and its amendments,'the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves, so that this resolution may be confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the board and operate as a Special Order, in terms of Section 21 of the aforesaid Act, as follows, . that is to say : 1. THAT the said Board hereby resolves to raise a loan of Fifty Thousand Pounds (£50,000), being the final portion of a loan of £250,000 authorised by ■‘The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Act, 1930.” 2. THAT the term of the. said loan of £50,000 be Twenty-nine (29) years, and that the loan bo raised in New Zealand, and that the payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said loan be made in New Zealand. 3. THAT the security for the interest and sinking fund and the repayment of the said loan shall be (in addition to the security prescribed by the said Act) a special annually recurring rate of Three Farthings (Jd) in the Pound (£).on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Board’s District, comprising the whole of the City qi Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda. 4. THAT a sinking fund of Two Pounds (£2) per centum per annum on the amount of Hie said loan be established in connection with the same. 5. THAT the said loan of £50,000 be raised by the issue of debentures in the ’form prescribed by the said Act, and that each such debenture shall bear interest at a rate not exceeding Three and One-quarter, per centum (3i%) per annum, payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, and that coupons he annexed to each such debenture accordingly. 6. THAT the Corporate Seal of the Board be affixed to all such debentures, and that all such debentures and coupons be signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Secretary, but so that their respective signatures to the coupons may be lithographed on the coupons./* AND Notice is Hereby Further Given that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Board to be held at the Town Hall, Dunedin; on Monday, the 9th day of December, 1935, at 725 o’clock p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order. - Q a lewin> Secretary.
