Thirty prospecting licenses under the recent Petroleum Production Act have been issued by the Board of Trade to the Darcy Exploration Company, which is a development company of the AugloIrania Oil Company. The licenses cover areas totalling 5.438 square miles in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, ■ Dorset, Wiltshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Put* laud, Cambridgeshire, and Norfolk. Applications for licenses for more than 20 other areas have been received and aye under examination.
