PASSING CHEQUES
OLD OFFENDER CAUGHT [Pes United Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, August 13. Douglas Arthur Fletcher Brewer pleaded guilty to two charges of issuing valueless cheques, and was sentenced to three months ._ The police statement showed that he is an old offender. A local bank would not allow him to open an account, so he got a man to open one for him under the name of Stevens.
