DAMAGES AWARDED
WOMEN INJURED iH THEATRE [Pee United Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, August 13. Saying that the picture-going public were not expected to wend their way to the auditorium with their eyes glued to the floor looking out for traps, and that there was no evidence of lack of car* on the part of plaintiffs, Mr Luxford, S.M., in a reserved judgment, found for the plaintiffs—two women—and awarded £55 Is damages. They were Mrs ■ Florence Dodds and Miss vesta Fordham, both of whom fell and injured themselves in the Rea Theatre on May 3 through tripping on a strip of linoleum.
