Breeze arrived from Bluff this morning and is to sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Parera is due from Wellington tomorrow and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, and Eort Waikato. Orepuki is due from Wellington on Friday and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. . / ■ Wingatui left Wellington last night for Lyttelton and Dunedin. _ She is due on Friday morning and is to sail on Saturday for Oamalu, Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, Wellington, and Auckland. Waimariuo is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due on July 24 and is to sail the same day lor the south. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. % The interisland express steamer Maori reached Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.45 a.m. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northward.— Mauimanui left Sydney on July 4, and Wellington on July 9 for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on July 26. Aorangi is to leave Sydney on July 18 and Auckland on July 23 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on August 9. Monterey is to leave Sydney on July 24 and Auckland on July 27 for San Francisco via Suva, Paga Pago, Honolulu, and Los Angeles. She is due at Los Angeles on August 10, and San Francisco on August 12. Makura is to leave Sydney on August 1 and Wellington on August 6 for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on August 23. —Southward. — Makura left _ San Francisco on July 3 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on July 22 and at Sydney on July 27. Maunganui is to leave San Francisco on July 31 for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on August 19 and Sydney on August 24. Niagara is to leave Vancouver on July 17 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on August 5 and Sydney on August 10. Mariposa is to leave Los Angeles on July 24 for Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on August 9, and Sydney on August 12. KARETII PROM SYDNEY. The Karetu is scheduled to leave Sydney on Friday for Port Ivembla. She will then proceed to Hobart, •Huff, Dunedin, Onmaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She is expected to clear Hobart on July 24 and is due about July 30. JAMES COOK LEAVES SYDNEY. Messrs Keith Ramsay Ltd. announce that the James Cook left Sydney yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is duo on July 27 and is to sail on July 29 for Brisbane via ports. ANTIOPE ARRIVES. The steamer Antiope arrived yesterday afternoon from Nauru Island via Lyttelton and was berthed at the Ravensbourne wharf to discharge a part cargo of phosphates. The Antiope will complete discharge at Dunedin. WAITAKI TO LEAVE MELBOURNE. The Union Company advises that the ■ . hi is to leave Melbourne to-mor-row afternoon for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due on Tuesday. RUAHINE FOR BLUFF. Having discharged the local portion of her London cargo, it was expected that the Ruahino would be despatched from Port Chalmers this afternoon for Bluff. Thv' vessel is to commence Homeward loading at Napier and then proceed to Wellington Timaru, Port Chalmers, and Auckland, where she will
complete. She is expected back at Port Chalmers on August 8. KAIMIRO’S LOADING. The Kaimiro will load at Adelaide and Edithburgh this week and will complete at Melbourne for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Tarakohe. She may call at Newcastle en route from Melbourne to Auckland. KARETU COMING. The Union Company advises that the Karetu is to leave Sydney on Friday for Port Kembla and Hobart to complete loading for Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She is expected to leave Hobart on July 24, and is due at Dunedin on July 30 • WIRELESS PROM ROTORUA. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Rotorua, en route from Auckland to_ London, states that the weather conditions are favourable and that all on board are well. The Rotorua left Auckland on Saturday morning. PORT SYDNEY AT LONDON. Cable advice has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Sydney reched London on the morning of July 10 from New Zealand. She left Lyttelton on May 31 for London via Cape Horn. TAMAROA AGAIN RADIOS. The Tamaroa, en route from London, reports by radio that she is encountering bad weather, and that she does not now expect to arrive at Wellington to-morrow morning. She is still to leave there at 4 o’clock that afternoon for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. NEWSPRINT FROM NOVA SCOTIA. Advice has been received that the London steamer Willesden left Liverpool, Nova Scotia, on July 9 with a cargo of newsprint for Auckland, Wellington,’ Lyttelton, and Dunedin.' She. is due at Auckland about August 19. The vessel’s former name was Antinous. SCHOONER HUIA’S ITINERARY. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia left Auckland last Friday for Sydney and Melbourne. From Melbourne thfe schooner will proceed to Fremantle, and then she will return to Melbourne to load for Queensland ports. From Queensland she will return again to Melbourne to load explosives for New Zealand.' where she is due about November. PERSONAL. Mr L. S. Carlton has been engaged as third engineer of the Kaimai. Captain R. B. Denniston has superseded Captain G. W. Evans as master of the Gabriella. Captain G. W. Evans has superseded Captain J. Ritchie as master of the Kaimai. Mr H. H. Pike has been engaged as second mate of the Wainui, relieving Mr R. F. Dewar. Mr A. H. Booker has been appointed chief engineer of the Kalingo, relieving Mr D. Melville. Captain R.
