Parkhill) is initiating; measures for the protection of the _ civilian population in Australian against gas attacks by enemy raiders in the event of waV, Mr Parkhill announced that a conference was being arranged between representatives of the Commonwealth and the States on the, subject of a practicable scheme which could be employed in such an emergency.
