THE PRINCESS ROYAL
OPERATION SUCCESSFUL Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 4. The operation on the Princess Royal was successful. The Princess Royal had been under medical treatment for some time, but as a complete cure had not been effected an operation was decided upon. Lord Dawson of Penn, Sir Thomas Dunhill, and Mr L. F. R, Khuthsen sighed a bulletin stating that the is also known as Grave’s disease. The causes are not fully known, but are connected with the disfunctioning of the thyroid gland. Sir Thomas Dunhill, a leading expert on thyroid surgery, operated, removing part of the thyroid gland, which is a very delicate operation carried out fairly frequently, and the results are usually satisfactory.
