BRISK DEMAND CONTINUES Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 17. (Received May 18, at 10.5 a.m.) At the wool sales 6,030 bales were offered, including 2,091 from New Zealand. Altogether 3,160 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was brisk Home and Continental demand, with full rates maintained. New Zealand scoured quarter-bred “ J.L.R.,” top 10Jd, average 9d.
