'FRENCH LEAVE'
- Voted nightly one of the brightest performances presented by amateurs in Dunedin in recent years. * French Leave,’ an exceedingly clever comedy by Reginald Berkley, was presented again in the Concert Chamber last night before a fair-sized audience. Every minute of the play was thor. oughly enjoyed by those present, who were eager to recognise the talent of the individual members of the Strolling’ Players’ group. Very creditable per* forraances are given by Misses Anita Winkel and Sheila Neilson, and Messrs Angus Gorrie, Douglas Skene, Reynolds gorbprt, Bert Jones, and Douglaa jili; and each gives a thoughtful interpretation. Credit must also go to Mr Richard White, the producer. 1 French Leave.’ will finish a most successful short season to-night.
