C, Reay, of Mornington Baptist Church. At tlie service in the Anderson’s Bay Presbyterian Church in the evening the choir, will render Harold Moore’s beautiful cantata for Easter, ‘ The! Darkest Hour. 1 The soloists' are Miss .Betty Pocock and Messrs Alfred Walmsley, E. S. Tuclcwell, and D. M’lnnes. A worthy rendering ot this very fine work is. assured. The Eev. \R. T. Dodds will conduct both services at the South Dunedin Presbyterian Church. 'ln the evening Miss Mary Henry will sing ‘ The Lord is My Light,’ and the anthem will be ‘ O Gladsome Light ’ (Sullivan). ■ ! , The ReV. C. H. Olds will conduct the evening service at Trinity Methodist Church, his subject being ' Docs God’s Mercy Extend Beyond the Grave?’ Mr A. Botting will take the solo in the anthem i* Seek Ye the Lord,’ and Mr W, A. Finnie will sing ‘ Thus Saith the Lord.’ The preacher at the Methodist Central Mission will be the Rev. Leslie B. Neale. In the evening Mr. Neale will- preach on ‘Partnership,’ and at this service the mayor and mewly-elected, councillors will attend.’ A duet will be given by the MisSes Edna and Grace Clark. The services at Dundas Street-Methodist Church will be conducted by Rev. Percy Cooke. Morning subject, ‘ Winning Soul.’ Fellowship, Mr : Field. Evening, ‘Winning Through. Solo, Miss Alma Tyrell. At the Caversham Baptist Church the seryiqes will be taken by the Rev. R. ; L. Furadon. _ ‘ Christ Perfected Through Suffering ’ is the title of the morning address. , At night the subject is ‘ Runners in the Greatest Race.’ The choir will render'the anthem ‘The Lord is Full of Compassion.’ After eight weeks, of the special fneetings which are being held in the Gospel Hall, King Edward road,. South Dunedin, the interest is still very marked, and the numbers atending show an increase. Mr <E. Coppin continues on Sundays, Tuesdays, . Wednesdays, _ and Thursdays to speak on subjects of vital importance. Many testify to naving received great blessing during the meetings, which are entirely free to the public, irrespective of denomination. At the morning service in the Congregational Church , the Rev. 'Albert Mead will give an address on ‘ The Message of Zephaniah,’ and in the evening Miss Jean Begg will speak on ‘ Christian Work in India.’ The choir will render PugheEvans’s ‘ Lead Kindly Light.’' A' short devotional service yill follow.. On Wednesday evening next excerpts from 1 Bach’s ‘ St. Luke Passion ’ and Mozart’s ‘ 12th Mass ’ will be rendered by the choir. At the United Congregational Church the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. G. Densem. In the evening the Eev. C. G. Hedley Bycroft will speak on ‘ Are We Nearing the End of the Age?’ A violin and piano duet will bo rendered by Messrs Ray Arnold, and Murray Sinclair. - At the Theosophical Society Mr J. M, M‘Ewan will speak on ‘ The Fourth Wise Man.’ Next Friday evening at 8 o’clock! ' there wUI be a lecture on ‘Theosophy and Art 1 by Mr C. Jinarajadasa, M.A. (Cantab.). ' 1 First Church of Christ Scientist, will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, Stuart street. The subject for the mom-! ing. and evening services will be ‘ Mortals and Immortals. ' At the Spiritualist Church in the ..even-. , ing Mrs Brooks will speak on ‘ Evidence of Things' Unseen,’ and will give spiritual messages after the address. A lady supporter will give a vocal solo. Mr (Andrew M. Johnston, the blind soldier evangelist, of the New Zealand Bible Institute, will conclude his Roslyn mission in the Baptist Church, Taieri road, and will speak at both services. He will be assisted by the minister of the Church, Rev. H, R. Turner.
