Mr James Cunningham, M.L.A. for Kalgoorlip, who was Minister for Water Supply from 1927 to 1980 in the previoys Collier Government, was fined £SO in the Berth Police Court for failure to furnish income tax returns for the years 1928 and 1933. The Taxation Department’s prosecuting officer said that Mr Cunningham had been previously convicted for failure to supply returns for the same periods 'and had ignored the demands of the department.
