USE OF LANCASTER PARK Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrigh. AUCKLAND, May 16. The action of the Canterbury Rugby Longue in making application for the use of Lancaster Park in Christchurch to play a representative game against an Australian team received the strong support of the N6w Zealand Rugby League to-night. The chairman (Mr Snodden said that a legal opinion had been obtained, and from the terms under which the park had been secured, no particular sports body was debarred from playing on the ground under exceptional conditions. If necessary, it was the intention of the league to have an amendment to the Act made by Parliament.
