'tj It is revealed that the burglary committed at Oamaru last night (reported in the “local” par’s) was similar in every detail to the robbery that occurred a year ago, when 'the Oamaru Gas Company’s . office was Woken into and over £2O stolen. Incidentally, the buildings are in the same street and adjacent to each other. The police report that approximately £2O was taken, . but that apparently the .thief or thieves in haste overlooked £lB in notes amongst the papers pulled from the safe. A glove was found alongside the safe, —Oamaru correspondent.
