ANOTHER SMASH TWO HORSES KILLED Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, March 31. Another racing smash occurred when three horses - fell in the second division of the Maiden Welter at Rosehill yesterday. Braytina fell first, throwing its rider (H. M'Farlane) over the rails. Bosun (R. Skelton) and More Chase (S. Weiss) fell over Braytina. Weiss had an arm broken, and Braytina was killed instantly. Bosun broke a shoulder and was destroyed. Skelton and M’Farlane escaped with a shaking, - and More Chase was unhurt. The Club Handicap, ITosovs, 1m and 3f, resulted : STONEBROOK, 7.6 (Donkin) ... 1 Master Brierly, 5.12 (M'Carten) ... 2 King March, 8.9 (Bartle) 3 Eight started, including Lavington. Won by thre-quarters of a length, half a length between second and third. Time, 2min 19Jsec. Cockpen was second to Lanaciah in the Granville Novice Handicap. Golden Gate, Respectful, and Frimsel were unplaced in the Westmcad Handicap. Further examination discloses that Knox’s injury is only muscular, and it is how almost certain that he will'ride Dromos in the Doncaster Handicap and Journal in the Sydney Cup. Jim Munro, who rode Silver Ring in the Epsom Handicap, has returned to Australia after a successful period of riding in India.
