FAREWELL TO DR POLISS

A pleasant evening was spent at the Radiant Health Club on Monday, when about sixty members and friends gathered to bid farewell to Dr Vere Poliss. A short musical programme was presented, violin solos being contributed by Mrs Grace Meffan, a piano solo by Mr Hargreaves, and vocal solos by Miss Irene Brooks and Mrs Meffan. Dr Poliss then gave a talk on 1 Courage and Confidence,’ and was presented with two beautiful floral bouquets. The evening was brought to a close with the singing of the ‘Peace Hymn.’
