CAROL SERVICE
An impressive carol service was held at the Mornington Methodist Church last night, the following being the programme:—Hymn, ‘Christians, Awake,’ the congregation; anthem, ‘ Behold a Light Has Come ’ (Giebel), the choir; solo, ‘ The Holy Child,’ boy soprano, Herbert Claridge; chorale, ‘ Holy Night ’ (Peace), the choir; solo, 1 Thus saith the Lord ’ (Messiah), Mr W. Finnic; instrumental, violin solo, Miss B. Judd; chorale, ‘ Kings Their Threefold Offerings Bring,’ the choir; solo, ‘Silent Night,’ Miss Nan M‘Kee; anthem, ‘ Glory to God in the Highest ’ (Peace), the choir.
