CONCERT AT TALBOYS HOME
A very enjoyable concert was given on Saturday evening to the inmates of Talboys Home by the Dunedin South Labour Party. At the conclusion Mr Sutherland, manager, conveyed the thanks of the inmates to the performers and to the party for the splendid programme that had been provided. The following contributed : Community sing, leader Mr J. T. Ramsay; instrumental selection. Jollity Boys; song, Mr Ramsay ; quartet, action song—Margaret Ruth, Nooline Kennedy, Alma M'Keown, and Mary Nash; dance, .lack Miller; instrumental selection, the Bluebirds ; song, Mrs Caldwell; dance, Joyce Vickery; song, Mr Brickdale; recitation. Kdna Vickery; cornet solo, Mr Bowie; accordion. Mr R. Maxwell; recitation. Joyce Wilden ;_ pianoforte solo. Norman Dickson; recitation and character sketch, Mr Mears; accompanist, Mrs Taylor.
