NO. 6 DEPOT COAL AND CHRISTMAS CHEER ORDERS. There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the committee held last night. Coal orders for December will be received on 12th and 19th insts., after which date the depot will be closed until January 9. All men registered up till December 8 will receive a Christmas cheer order at the depot, and on December 19,, when tickets for the children’s party at the Town Hall on December 22 will also be distributed. NO. 4 DEPOT AFFAIRS The following are the arrangements for coal deliveries: —Orders will be received up to December 19 for delivery before Christmas. In respect of orders received from this date and up to December 21 no guarantee of delivery before Christmas will be given. The ciepot will be closed from Friday, December 21, and will re-open on Monday, January 7. Christmas orders at the rate of 2s for single men and 4s for married men will be issued on Monday, December 17, and Friday. December Zl, between 4 and 5 o'clock. In this case the registered relief worker must apply personally. Tickets . for the children’s Christmas treat will be issued on Friday, December 14, and Tuesday, December 18, at the same hour. Either parent may collect these tickets. In both cases the depot red book must be produced. OUTDOOR MEETING At the Museum Grounds last Sunday a meeting was held under the auspices of the National Unemployed Workers' Movement. Mr C. M‘Arthur presided over a fair attendance. Addresses were delivered by Messrs ,G. Geddes, A. 8., Powell, M. Silverstone, and Mrs E. Bennett. All the speakers received an attentive hearing, and after questions had been answered a vote of thanks to the speakers was carried by acclamation.
